How we comply

  • Fire. B-s1,d0 fire-retardant board and Bfl-s1 carpet. Both are accepted at all these venues, and also at IFEMA's Palacio Municipal, which is the strictest.
  • Certificates. Each material comes with its declaration of performance and classification report, and we hand them over with the stand's spec sheet.
  • Electricity. Halogen-free RZ1-K (AS) cable, class Cca-s1b,d1,a1, and an authorised installer's certificate.
  • Height and ramps. We design within each venue's height limit, and the platform has a ramp as wide as the venue requires.
  • Deadlines. We send you the dimensioned plan, elevations and perspective before the venue's deadline.
  • Batteries. VR headsets, tablets and tools are charged outside the venue.
  • Waste. We separate wood, metal and textiles, and at breakdown we take everything away.

Questions

What reaction to fire does IFEMA require?

At IFEMA's own shows, C-s2,d0 on walls and ceilings and Efl on the floor (Normas Generales, §19). In the Palacio Municipal, B-s1,d0 and Bfl-s1 (§19).

How far in advance do you have to send IFEMA your stand plans?

A month before build-up, with dimensioned plan, elevations and perspective. Without approval, nothing gets built (Normas Generales, §25).

Can batteries be charged at IFEMA?

No. The rules forbid it inside the venue “under any circumstances” (§41).

What happens to anything left in the hall?

IFEMA removes it and charges for it. At IFEMA's own shows, ten times the catalogue price of cleaning and skips (§35), and at externally organised shows, €100 per m² of the whole allocated space (§31).
